Notes - Only 3% of the water in the world is freshwater and the rest of 97% is sea water leading to the line-up private investments in the control and distribution /sale of water, which is a basic necessity of all living beings. To an investor, water is an ultimate commodity. Increasing poverty and the difficulty to buy the most basic needs of life, is leaving more than 1 billion people in the world hard to have adequate access to water and the above mentioned privatization of water supply and control adds to the nightmare.
